Women In Unity for Christ was founded by humble servant and visionary Mrs. Minnie Shaw (left), in 1995. Through a divine vision, Minnie Shaw was equipped by God with Philippians 4:13 to share His holy word within her community and to be a light in dark places for those who need it most. Upon sharing her vision with spiritual leaders, six women committed their time and talents to this great cause and are the founding members of this organization. Together these women have changed the face of their community in Canton, MS, and beyond. Along with visionary Minnie Shaw, Mrs. Dorothy Davis (right), a trusted and loyal servant of God, was essential to the development of this organization. Her fortitude and faithfulness were vital for its continuous development. She and Minnie Shaw are founding members who have stayed within the community of Canton, MS to faithfully carry out the organization’s vision.

One Year after the vision was formed, Women and Unity became an official 5013c, non-profit organization. The board members have served faithfully until this day and are an integral part of this organization’s operations.
